Beyond the core identification process
DVI capability extends well beyond the core identification process. MWJ's service portfolio includes specialist consultancy supporting areas such as:
- DVI information management;
- DVI quality management;
- resources and infrastructure;
- exercise and validation;
- continuous improvement;
- national DVI transformation.
These services are intended to support the organisational conditions required to establish, operate and sustain national DVI capability.
From findings to a development pathway
The assessment does not automatically prescribe a fixed solution. Instead, findings can inform a development pathway based on: Assessment Findings → Development Priorities → Appropriate Development Options → Advisory / Training / Workshops / Exercises → Implementation → Validation & Learning → Continuous Improvement.
Final development packages may combine different types of intervention according to assessment findings, organisational priorities, available resources and strategic objectives.
GCC-oriented capability development
MWJ's approach takes account of the operational, institutional, cultural and religious environment of the GCC — including government decision-making, multidisciplinary crisis response, family and humanitarian expectations, and the practical realities of maintaining specialist capability within mature government organisations.
The objective is not to transfer a generic model into a national environment. It is to support capability development within the context in which the capability must actually operate.
